Surveying down near the Fortescue Marsh today when we struck this massive acacia forest.
It always amazes me how extreme the changes can be in the landscape up here, one minute you're walking across dry gravel treeless flats and then all of a sudden you're inside a forest of trees full of birds, kangaroos, emus and the odd cow or ten.
