We just missed each other - we spent Christmas eve lunch at the Merchant and it was terrific. We settled in for about 6 hours and whittled the day away, top stuff.

Yeah it's a great venue, with a touch of Melbourne (the chosing your wine from the shelf or fridge bit). Time drifts by when you get a window seat
