My little blog here has been running for almost 5 years and in that time it's attracted a small following of regular readers. As such it gets around 40-50 hits a day sometimes more sometimes less. So imagine my suprise when I get a stats report showing nearly 800 hits for yesterday and almost 900 for today. But there's an hour left so hitting 1000 for the day isn't out of the question yet. 1000? Man that's what I usually get for a month.
So what's goin on? My first thought was it's a glitch in the stat counter. But then I checked the referrals page to see where the hits where coming from and it all started to make sense. On Sunday you see it was the No Pants Subway Ride Day by Improv Everywhere. People be wanting to see pics and it seems that a pic I posted here on YelPar 2 years ago about that days ride has gathered a bit of notice. I guess hot girls in french knickers catches peoples attention. Hilarious stuff.
I'm sure they'll all go away soon and regular viewing can recommence.
