VAPOUR TRAIL

I was out in the bush this afternoon and I heard the sound of a jet. I mentioned it sounded pretty high. We all looked up and there it was with a vapoUr trail. I rarely see aircraft with vapour trails in Australia, when I was in the USA I saw heaps of them. I figured it was a northern hemisphere thing. But I believe it has to do with weather conditions and heights etc etc
.
Anyway it was pretty cool to see one today, of course before I could get my camera out it had moved well away form us, but I tried.

Stu just reading your blog site regarding vapour trails, we saw lots of them in the malee country of victoria, eg Robinvale and also at Loxton. Some of them stayed intact for ages before dispersing into nothing. It was always a very clear and crisp day with the most brilliant blue sky.

Love mum.

Always rely on your mum to know what's going on hehehehe, thanks mum.

you never seen a vapor trail , fm

We look for them in hope as it's a moisture thing .

The Melb to Syd plains fly above me
and their trails hang around for hours .

Look in the rear vision mirror on your way to Italia - Reb .

ha, nah I've seen em, I just cannot for the life of me remember seeing them here in the west since I was a wee tacker. But then I spend the majority of my time looking at the ground, so who knows what's going on above me............not me!!
