7 AT 9 FOR 8

"Can we get a table for seven at Nine for eight o'clock please?"

I'm kind of at a loss to remember how many times I've eaten at Nine Fine Foods now, possibly 8 or so. It never disappoints. They've given the whole place a makeover recently, very warm inside with dark wooden shutters and a new section of dining room where the bar once stood. Gone are the special boards on the wall now replaced by a faux stone wall (wallpaper of sorts). New chairs (this is a very good thing) and just enough change to make it new but not unfamiliar.

I tried taking pics of the food on the cuisine setting of my digi-cam and without flash, I mean who gets pissed off when there's a flash camera going off on the table next to you all night, I know I do. So the result isn't all that good, these are an improvement on my earlier attempts at snapping their food, those have all been failures. Also none of the wait staff told me off for taking pics this time so I was a lot happier. I was told not to the first time I ate there....

"Chef does not like his food photographed"

"Hmmmm but he's okay with me chewing it up and mixing it with my saliva and then digesting it before eventually having it pass through my bowe....well you get the idea"

Dine at Nine, you'll be glad you did.
