Karks dropped by this afternoon to make sure I was still alive. Clearly I am....I think. Decided I should try out the oven in my new place, figured something easy like scones. I used to have a brilliant scone recipe - this is important when baking scones cos so much can go wrong. Somehow I've lost that recipe and I'm not as one with my oven yet. End result, great tasting fluffy scones that failed to rise enough. Next time.
