This may only be funny to other archaeologists, but often when I'm out and about I end up discussing my occupation with people. This is understandable, as you don't meet many archaeologists during your average day, we're a rare breed.
I would say that 70% of the time people mistake me for a geologist (they're much more common) and ask me what sort of rocks I am looking for!
I think I will make this pic into a business card and prior to all future conversations about my job I'll hand these out!! :o)
