Sadly Japanese film director Yoshitaro Nomura has died. If you are an avid SBS film watcher - I have my moments - then you may have caught a film or two of his. 85 yrs isn't a bad innings though!!
On a lighter note, German archaeologists have unearthed what could be the oldest porn in history. Looks like porn has been around for a lot longer than previously thought, although hiding copies of marble frescos under your bed must have been bloody difficult!!
