Home again, always good to sleep in something other than a king single, who's sheets don't actually quite fit, bed. Your own is always the best :o)

Had to "flee" the Pilbara yesterday as another cyclone slipped over the coast. The weather was turning for the worse as each day passed, I even saw a SULO bin fly past my window one night!! Made for some incredible views from my rooms verandah each evening though ....

Roads were washed away and we were basically stuck in camp for two days before they finally allowed 4WD's to make a break for it. Dean and I started the 30km trip to the bitumen with fairly white cars......they came out the other end looking, well, not so white....
