This is one of things I love about blogging, anyone anywhere in the world can do it and thus connect with you instantly. One such blogger is a guy called Mazen Kerbaj and he lives in Beirut.
He does intentionally apolitical; drawings, poems and has even done a recording, which whilst a tad surreal, really makes the reality of the crap going down over there hit home for you. His recording is of him playing his trumpet at home with the sound of Israeli bombs exploding all around him.
I for one will definately be checking in with his blog to see how things pan out for him.
