It seems as if Cyclone Kara is going to fizzle out, which is a good thing, cept that still means a heap of rain, which for my work is a bad thing.
So yesterday we took advantage of a break in the weather to make a 200km dash to Newman to catch a plane home.
Was hell good fun driving through it all and the sky looked amazing, but a bit hairy at times as a simple poor choice in direction could put you up to your axles in mud or worse still slide sideways on the slippery tracks and roll over.
