BACK IN THE GAME

New Camera is bought, not the digital SLR that I am ultimately planning to buy, but I have a small point and shoot digital, an Olympus FE-240. Pretty simple camera, easy to use and very compact. It'll do until I finally decide on the SLR.

i'm looking at upgrading my piece of 'brick' (Canon S45) too. I'm debating if i should go lightweight, or go quality. Hmmm, decisions decision... :)

How is the FE-240, now that you've had a bit of time to play with it? I've to get myself a nice digital camera, and that looks ideal!

It's pretty good, haven't refined everything yet, but for a point and shoot it does well, check YeLPanorama for todays effort. I'm pretty happy with it.

woohoo! Ordered it last night (complete with tripod), looking forward to taking pictures whenever I want! :D

I'm paying about AU$40 more so, but that's including delivery and a tripod, so that's not bad. Hurrah for the internet!
