FUNERAL TRAIN OF ROBERT KENNEDY

I love a good historical photo and these are definately good. What a moment they capture. After his assasination Bobby Kennedy's body was carried across the country by train and thousands of families and ordinary people lined the route to pay their respects.
.
These appear to have been taken from the train as it passed by the throngs. They certainly stir the imagination.

We had Martin Sheen give us a personal introduction (he was at my college at the time) - it's pretty good, especially for someone like me who hadn't grasped the impact Bobby had on regular people at the time.

Unfortunately it's got Lindsey Lohan in it. But sure, no film's perfect, right?

awesome on the Martin Sheen visit, almost like having a real president, hehehe a poll once voted him a better president that George Bush, note that my dead cat would have been a better prez than Bush, but I'm just sayi.

To this day nobody has ever explained to me convincingly the attraction of Lindsay Lohan, beats me.
