Today was a good day, a sad day and a fun day, today we said our goodbyes to Jimi.

Everyone gathered down at Point Walter, ate lots of home made goodies, drank some wine and beer and dodged the rain. We'd all gathered to place Jimi's ashes under a peppermint tree at the Point.
.
There wasn't a dry eye anywhere when Jimi's wife Elle spoke, I guess it really hit home right then, Jimi's gone. But just as he would have wanted/demanded, there was no lingering, just some tears and hugs and back to the drinks and some more food and more laughter.

It was a good day and a good way to send Jimi off.
