So today was the end of day two in our cave. After a day of preperation we finally broke ground this morning and started excavating. We got an awesome suprise yesterday when we test probed the depths of the deposit and it was heaps deeper than we first assumed. Great news in one sense however it means we'll probably have to stay up here a few days more than we planned to get through it all.

We found a heap of artefacts and a tooth today, tooth is probably kangaroo though, hard to tell at the mo. I'll post a few pics tomorrow if I remember to bring my camera back to my room.

Tomorrows my actual birthday and I'm spending it in a cave, I think that's pretty damn cool though. We're having a BBQ in our block tomorrow night for one of my crew who just had her birthday and for moi. Should be fun.
