I know there is free parking in places but it's not usually something councils advertise, parking fees are a huge money spinner for them so why give it away. That's usually the case unless you're in Fremantle. As I pulled up to park there today I noticed the time limit sign had the word FREE stamped on it. It's like getting a big warm hug when you least expect it and welcome when you're like me with no coins in your pocket for the meter.
