WAIT WHAT HOW HOT

I've been up here for a week now and we've been getting slammed by the weather. It's pretty obvious why I'm smashing 8-10 litres of water a day! When I hit the hay last night at around 10.30pm it was a whopping 36.5 degrees C. We're a few hours south west of Marble Bar so we pretty much get their temps. But I found out the other day that when they take the official temperature anywhere that they do it in the shade! Apparently it's the only way to get the correct air temp as the sun increases it........er, well yeah so what's the temp on ME when I'm standing out here in full sun (maybe closer to the 50 degrees that it actually feels like). That's what I want to know.

Right now it's....

and this is what we've been through

This is what we have ahead of us, maybe some rain on Monday, but that's rain in 44 degrees!

and this isn't even the hot time of the year, we still have February.
Good times.

Ha, like I'm a meteorologist, I just take the cute blondes word for it at 6.27pm every evening ;)

I was actually using the point to emphasise that it's a shit load hotter than any official number.
