As I do every year I avoided hitting the actual foreshore for the fireworks, turns out I probably should have gone this year as everybody else stayed away as well. We had a great day regardless. It all began around 2pm with a long lunch and numerous drinks down at Hyde Park.....

Michael spotted the yellow couch, raced over and introduced himself and became instant best friends and managed to convince them to strike a pose. Result, two great pics. Then it was time to head to Waz and Gaz's place to clamber up onto the roof and watch the fireworks explode over the city. My pics aren't the best as alcohol may have hindered my ability to actually select the correct settings, but they're okay....
