I'm home, it's good to be home. My first stint back in the Pilbara since my extended summer break. I'm glad it was only a short trip. Best to ease one self back into these things yes? Ha! It was a pretty cool short trip though, we had to excavate a cave which is always fun. We didn't find a whole lot but we found enough if you know what I mean? Definitely enough charcoal to get a radio carbon date at least.
Some fairly spectacular views towards the Fortescue Marsh and the Hammersley Ranges from the front of the cave.
It wasn't a huge cave, big enough though, you could almost stand up straight when you were inside
