Posting this purely because this was a big topic of discussion today as those under the age of 25 who work with me have/had no idea that Mark Wahlberg was a rapper way before he moved into acting. Oh and that his brother Donnie was part of New Kids On The Block. Gah kids these days....

lols. Marky Mark was also in the first line up of nkotb too! But he decided he was too hardcore for their bubblegum pop. True! I wiki'd it a while ago in an argument over which wahlberg was in nkotb!

True dat he was, they were simply too woosey for his hardcore persona ;) Plus he had an appointment with prison sometime shortly after (or was that before?)
