Cruisin the web recently and I stumbled across this picture of silent movie actress Louise Brooks...
... and I fell instantly in love. Stunning! What I love most about this picture is you can really see her face, so many 1920's/1930's shots have women wearing 3 inches of makeup, hats and jewellery and you can't see their face at all. Louise Brooks is IMO absolutely stunning. So I did a little research, turns out she was a big star in the silent movie era, made a particular haircut (the bob with fringe) famous, hung out with the Randolph Hearst at San Simeon and by 1931ish she was all washed up, blacklisted by Hollywood for not following the system. She died in 1985. A movie should be made of this woman, such an interesting life she lived.
