I've never really been much of a graphic novel fan, I've read a few but I didn't feel the need to go out and buy the latest whatever sort of thing. I am enjoying this one though, it's titled Get Jiro!. Written by Anthony Bourdain (a chef you may have heard of) and Joel Rose with art by Langdon Foss and Jose Villarrubia. This scene below is what first caught my eye. Californian rolls indeed...
The Center: The city is ruled by two chef overlords. Each is locked in battle with the other over culinary minutiae and arcane philosophical differences- and of course, turf.
