This is pretty cool, I truly hope they do reach Mars in my lifetime. Sadly any travel further into our solar system will only happen after I am dust. But I'd be happy with Mars. So in order to make this a possibility the Mars Research Society is using the Utah desert to investigate the possibility of a human exploration of the red planet.
