I'm back from my first ever trip outside Australia (unless you count a week in Tasmania). Saw a lot of art, ancient and modern, and frankly, I think it's the street artists like Creepy and the creator of this piece who are preserving the traditions and skills of the old masters. Los Angeles County Museum of Art had an elephant turd with a chain around it on display. A long, long way from Rembrandt - or even Tom Roberts. And it's not my idea of progress. Rant ends...
