The National played the Belvoir Amphitheatre last night. Such an awesome and relaxed venue. I really liked The National before this gig and now I really really like The National. Great show and Matt Berninger is a most awesome showman. Pretty sure he destroyed at least 20 microphones through his habit of throwing them away in anger at the end of each song. Plus anyone who's cool enough to circle the amphitheatre and then slide back to the stage via the moshpit is okay by me.
