I glanced at this old hotel on the way past and I stopped to visit on the way back. It was pretty sad to see that it was now closed until further notice and had been this way for a while. The Sawyers Valley Tavern is a bit of an art deco gem in this region, a one of a kind. But it is no more and that kinda sucks.
She was built in the 30's, and apart from a few homes with the odd detail, it's the only Art Deco building in the shire. This place is screaming out to be resurrected, it could be the perfect day tripper destination for city people looking to escape the big smoke for a day.
I guess we can only hope that someone with the cash thinks the same, but I doubt that will be anytime soon
