THIRD TIMES A CHARM

 But really it isn't.

The sad state of affairs with the Williamsons Motor House.

I've highlighted her here twice before. Once here in 2008 when she was still operating and then again here in 2016 after they'd torn parts (most) of her down.

It's now 2025, nine years since my last visit, so I went again and still she sits unloved, abandoned to her fate and in danger of oblivion.

State Heritage deemed only the remaining section to warrant protection, developers trashed the rest in 2015 and then the project fell over. Leaving the "protected" section to rot.

Now we have demolition by dereliction. It's propped up by supports and I'm stunned it's lasted this long.

My fingers are eternally crossed waiting for a saviour
