I think I've cried tears about the food up here before.........yes I have. I never thought they could do worse than the sweet potato and banana soup, (worst use of leftovers EVER) but they've kind of come close..
This morning as I'm filling my containers with my lunch I slide over to the sliced tomato tray only to find that instead of juicy ripe slices of tomato, it's full of the ends of tomatoes, no middle bits just the core ends. Oh and the cores are still insitu.

When I cooked for a living we used to save those bits for a soup or maybe a beef stock. Up here it's a sandwich item.

I used to be angry, now I just laugh....................often.
